First Meeting with KKN Friends: The Beginning of a Precious Journey
The first meeting with my KKN friends was a very special and unforgettable moment for me. At that time, we all gathered in a simple but energetic campus hall. Nervousness and enthusiasm mixed together. Each of us carried high hopes and expectations about the KKN experience we would live together.
When I entered the room, I saw new faces that I had never met before. Some looked serious, while others had started to smile in a friendly manner. The initial atmosphere did feel a little awkward, because we came from different majors, backgrounds, and regions. However, it made me even more curious to get to know them better.
We started the meeting with an introduction session. One by one, we introduced ourselves, starting from our names, majors, to our reasons for joining KKN. From here, I began to realise that although we were different, we had the same goal: to make a real contribution to the community while learning a lot from the field experience.
After the introductory session, we continued with a discussion about the activity plan during KKN. We discussed various programmes that will be run, ranging from education, health, environment, to community empowerment. The discussion was very interesting as everyone gave their ideas and opinions with passion.
We also began to divide the tasks according to our respective abilities and interests. Some were tasked as field coordinators, some focused on documentation, and some were responsible for logistics management. This process made us more cohesive and got to know each other better.
This first meeting was not just about introductions and planning, but also about building cohesiveness. We began to feel that KKN is not only about hard work, but also about togetherness and supporting each other. We promised to always maintain good communication and help each other during this journey.
I feel very lucky to be in a group that is full of enthusiasm and solidarity. We all realise that challenges during KKN will definitely come, but with togetherness, we are sure we can face them well.
This first meeting is the starting point of a meaningful journey. I am looking forward to the days ahead, where we will go directly to the community, learn from real life, and make positive contributions. I am sure this experience will be a valuable provision for our future.
Through this blog, I would like to share the story of how the first meeting with my KKN friends opened a new chapter in my life. Hopefully, this story can inspire other friends who are or will be undergoing KKN to always be enthusiastic and maintain togetherness.
